NASA astronaut and Artemis II Commander Reid Wiseman took this picture of Earth from the Orion spacecraft’s window after completing the translunar injection burn. There are two auroras (top right and bottom left) and zodiacal light (bottom right) is visible as the Earth eclipses the Sun.
This and another photo of Earth are the first downlinked images from the Artemis II astronauts. See and hear what the astronauts do with our 24/7 feed.

But I love dogs. Haven't owned one for years, but wish I did.
But these two brothers from the same litter are just fun to live with. They are, in many ways unlike cats and more like dogs.
And they are completely chill. They don't bug out and get weird around people, they engage with them as dogs do, and they are calm. I do enjoy them.
Nice looking crew you have there. They look like they know how to get serious in tough times.
Hahaha...big marshmallows they are! Admiral Halsey and Mr. Inky...:)
I’m guessing that’s Admiral Halsey in the front. Mice everywhere are fleeing in terror.
Indeed...he is the wild one. Gets crazy running around sometimes for no reason at all. The other one (Mr. Inky) is all about human affection...:)
