Technology doesn’t like to be shook and experience high G forces. Apollo functioned very well with a small nav computer and human piloting. It’s hard to believe mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs were designed with slide rules.
I came in for a short break and saw that the crew have noticed a “burning smell” on one of the latest operations of the toilet, but not with a subsequent use. So, the problem may have recurred a few hours ago, but not again since then (that I know of).
Is there a backup system? You know, one that doesn’t back up...
