I have though of taking one of the promotional deals with an new internet provider for a lot cheaper monthly bill for 2 years. The one reason I have not is because the New internet provider did away with having their own E-mail several years ago. If the provider I have now did this then I would have no reason to stay with them.

Where I am, I have only two options; Comcast or Broadway Broadband, which is a fiber optic service that is run by the local electric utility. They don't have email but I have a Gmail account as well as two MS accounts, but only so I can keep my Windows 10 ESU active until Oct this year. After that, I hope to be running Linux exclusively and not have a need to for any MicroThief accounts.

I hate it when these companies, that I bought into for their services, sell off to someone else I DIDN'T want to deal with. Same thing happened with a Walmart credit card account I had years ago. They sold it to Capital One who I totally despise. I was soooo happy to finally get that cc paid off and closed.
