As long as the media is lockstep in their support of the Dems, the Dems are in good shape. The Dem base would vote for Hitler if he was on the ballot as a D. I view independents as nothing but shy Dems, so if the media does their “job”, it’s not that difficult for Dems to win.

Trump defeated Hillary in 2016 thanks to the Independents voting for him big-time. And the media were behind Hillary totally, all the way.
