Nicholas San Souci pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree child abuse and one count of third-degree child abuse in connection with the April 25 attack at Saggios restaurant on Cornell Drive near Central Avenue.

It took almost a year to get to this point?!!!!

Amazing that he is still in jail with our catch and release criminal justice system.

Well, maybe not. He is rather pale for a the no bail release policy.

In the 1930’s a man robbed a Battle Creek, Michigan bank. He shot and killed the bank guard, then fled to Indiana. He was spotted and arrested and arraigned on the extradition warrant. He was ordered returned to Michigan where he was arraigned in District Court, bound over to Circuit Court and found guilty by bench trial. He was sentenced to prison and sent off. The robbery to sentencing was less than 12 hours. Hard to believe. The incident was the subject
of a book.
