BREAKING UPDATE: Second crew member from downed F-15 makes contact with US military: report
President Donald Trump has been briefed on the matter.
A US F-15 has been shot down over Iran and a search and rescue operation is underway, according to multiple reports. One of the crew members has been rescued in the search operation, and efforts are ongoing to find the second crew member who has made contact with US authorities, according to Israeli outlet N12.

F-15 WIZZO makes contact: Stay with me here ‘cause this whole incident, at least the reporting, is a bit weird. There has never been any mention of the wingman to the “downed” F-15. The notion that one F-15 was cruising Iran alone is high altitude BS. Then the notion that the wingman might have just buzzed off without spotting the ejection/landing is even higher BS. Even if the wingman had to climb to be out of range of a Stinger, for instance, he would not have left the area until help showed up. And we know help came quicker than the Iragheads got there.
I think it was
Ret. Gen Holt that mentioned early on that the WIZZO had been picked up. My suspicion is that our guys were playing the Irans to see what they would make up and to put more of their people on the ground looking, which would make a neat target package.
Then there’s the “downed” Warthog. It’s hard to down a Warthog. Some claim he was damaged near the Hormuz. But this operation was closer to Kuwait than anyplace else, a thousands miles away. But he flew to a safe landing spot and the claim is that he ejected. Unless he couldn’t get his wheels down there would be no reason to eject if he was close to home. Home in this case is Kuwait and I suppose the Kuwaitis might have asked him to ditch rather that muck up their runway. Warthogs are Army and are land based.
My suspicion all around is that Our guys are feeding the Irans loads of double talk to get them to make stupid moves.
Just listen to their TeeVee chick mumble about their new hi-tech weapons system.
Anyway, take news reports with a big chunk of salt for the next couple weeks.
