My thoughts on Bondi - she did do a lot behind the scenes, but kept the persona of one that is NOT doing anything. Had me fooled for a while, but realistically, if Trump was unhappy, he’d have canned her earlier on. I think RN is right in that this was timed to go with the mid-terms.
I think that along with keeping the face of “weakness”, she enhanced her resume and can willfully find employment in the private sector. Her name would have been blacklisted had she been a bulldog. And an AG isn’t a lifelong career - you have to move on.
