Hoover Dam was mentioned. It would be just fine if the Kalifornians weren’t taking way too much water out of the Colorado River. That’s their problem-—not hydro’s. And while droughts happen, upstream water management can usually keep thing cushioned.
Drought is going to be bad this summer. The western states have gotten almost zero snowfall this past winter, and we had a weird early melt with temps in the 100s in early March — very unusual. Expect a crazy wildfire season.
