The slope drained to a creek that ran all the way thru his place. After checking the rules, tho, he learned he couldn’t save the drainage water. Just let it run to the creek. The most he could do was plow to slow it down. That was in the 1950’s. He learned how to plow to slow it down and give his pasture a great spring start. Probably gained a month of grass anyway..
