Thats where the problem comes in with these changes that everyone is celebrating. What is a “healthy fruit juice”? Here all fruit juices are disallowed. We have politicians making health decisions. If we let them make changes every time a new paper comes out its just going to lead to more corruption. Was it REALLY for the good of the people when Iowa politicians came up with the idea that people should be restricted to certain things but encouraged to eat more processed grains?

A few years back people would be banned from eggs and also most forms of meat and each of the people here celebrating this decision now would have supported it then “because we have to pay for the healthcare of these people.”

The problem is not the change in foods eligible for “benefits,” but the “benefits” themselves. The program is unconstitutional and immoral and should be eliminated. If you truly are hungry, go to your friends, neighbors, and your church for help.
