Well, it is anecdotal. DC area here but I would have guessed Boston would be similar.
I know this is going to ruffle a few feathers but I gotta ask, is your circle of RN associations mostly white or black.
My wife’s is most distinctive in the racial makeup, much as you would expect for DC.
The whole spectrum really. We’ve gone on vacation with her latino nurse friends… gone away with her black friends, we’ve hung out with Philipinos. Because I dont hear it doesnt mean it doesnt happen, I get that. I think some of it she a little older. Shes 50…. Her friends pretty much the same. Younger nurses Id bet are more blatant with their intolerant nonsense.
