No. That’s what people talking to the media are telling us. Did they hear that from “U.S. intelligence”, or is it their personal opinion. The U.S. has been down the rabbit hole of “moderates” among the Mullahs and/or their government and that’s just what it is - a rabbit hole. And the whole lot of the IRGC have the blood of Iranian civilians on their hands. The people will never accept them as a “change”.

What Keane (I think it was Keane) was saying was that the materialism and corruption in the IRGC create real fault lines within it, potentially making some members–especially at lower or mid-levels–more pragmatic or susceptible to being turned against the mullahs and IRGC leadership under the right pressures.
