Quantitatively, not qualitatively, the site has declined generally, although it’s still an excellent resource/reference. IMHO
We got old.
I do love the site and have come into contact with many interesting and amazing people here. And the arguments that arise can be fun to participate in. Most of us who have been here 20 or more years are starting to get long in the tooth and coming here to check up on the daily happenings is not the obsession that it was when we were younger.
For me this place is still the perfect mix for a social media outlet. And it is an amazing refuge from the completely commercialized competing platforms.
