Mind boggling isn’t it ?
I’m not an engineer so I do not know what the process is for design changes .
If the builder suggested a design change I would have expected that the proposed change would have been reviewed by engineers, not architects or tradesmen .
Hey Bob the Builder says we have a design change, oh, ok, sounds good.
This failure and collapse never should have happened.
The problem is smart architects and engineers cannot fully fathom the stupidity, ignorance and actions of the ppl who use their products.
