According to the Council on Foreign Relations:

HOW MUCH IS THE UNITED STATES ASSESSED TO PAY?
In 2025, the U.S. assessment of the UN regular budget was 22 percent, or more than $820 million [PDF] of the approved $3.72 billion total. This is an increase of nearly $58 million from the previous year and a significant rise from 1994, when the United States was responsible for only about $300 million

So according to this, 45% of the US contribution of the UN budget would have gone to funding our own demise. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS.
