Your observation is I believe is totally, 1000% correct.

They (The Deep State) have nothing else to fight with. At CNN Trump with MAGA base is at an unheard of 100% approval rate. With the midterms fast approaching, its imperative they cut into this number. Therefore one way to combat in their depleted arsenal is to up the negative stories and activate more of their Joe Kents.

Note: When I write Deep State, that umbrella covers Dems, RINOS and those life long State Department employees still hiding like cockroaches in the shadows.
