A few years ago, NY State was running TV adverts(!) touting how “you can now get paid by Medicare to take care of your loved ones at home!”
My two reactions at the time was 1) how bizarre is it govt is now advertising to give away free-shit?! and 2) this is massive fraud just waiting to happen
I was right on both counts
