I agree! In the middle of the night, they should wheel the bed out of the hospital, Bobby Orr/Derek Sanderson style, put her in an ambulance, transport her to her domicile, and unload the bed with her in it on the sidewalk in front and declare she can keep the bed.
They swallow the cost of the bed and the ambulance ride and come out better in the end.
