Do we need to look?
Does the room have a window? If so problem solved.
Oh...she’s stubborn...
Psychiatric evaluation and court appointment of a guardian. Hospitals do this routinely.
What’s wrong with arresting her azz for trespassing?🤷♂️
I’m sick and tired of these lowlifes dictating that everyone else must tiptoe around them.
EFF ‘EM
Per the paperwork at this link...
If that info is accurate, Paynter’s attending physician has signed off on her discharge stating she no longer needs acute care.
Stop feeding the grifter! When she’s asleep, wheel the bed out side! Problem solved...
I like this comment, from the link ...
This should have been done months ago. If there are formal discharge orders and she refuses to leave, the police should have been called and she should have been charged with trespass. The longer they waited the harder it will be.
A nurse came in and told the lady that she was being discharged the next day. Her response was “Oh no, the doctor told me I’m staying a couple more days.”
The nurse walked out and came back a short time later WITH the doctor, who told the lady that she was being discharged the nest day.
The next day after the lady left with her baby, the nurse told my wife that they treat the hospital like a hotel with room service.
“Stubborn patient is squatting in Florida hospital and refuses to leave their bed, lawsuit alleges”
Stubborn patient is squatting in Florida hospital and refuses to leave HER bed, lawsuit alleges
There, fixed it
Those beds have wheels....
Lazyitis.
The hospital needs to buy a taser... and use it.
I read stories like this and think: “What would they have done in my grandparents time?”
3 big burly orderlies would have walked in there, grabbed her ass, and dragged her right out those doors and set her on the curb.
No lawsuits, no criminal charges, hell the cops would have held the door open for them. People wouldn’t have even tried anything like this that back then knowing what would happen to them.
Now we have lawyers just itching to make their 1/3 plus expenses and this is what we are left with.
Psych evaluation, 72 hours. That’s an instant transfer to elsewhere. She’ll want to leave that.
Some years ago when my wife was in Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, the nurses disclosed to me that the hospital was plagued with the local homeless residents who would check themselves into the hospital and stay for a few days just to get a clean bed, shower, and free food. Apparently, there was complacency going on by hospital staff who were not willing to effectively screen these walk-in and prevent them from taking advantage of the system. It reminds me of the politician the other day who had the audacity to defend shoplifting as an acceptable means for scofflaws to sustain themselves. This accepting attitude across the board of allowing the abuse of institutions within a society erodes and degrades it to third world status. Unfortunately, we see it taking place in liberal hell holes all around us.
TMH might as well be in Mogadishu or Nairobi….
This is more common than one would think.
The hospital has joined the fatigued movement. Stop feeding her. She’ll have to leave to go feed herself.
