From your description of yourself and your lifestyle, I would have pictured you with a whole swarm of friends, neighbors, and cousins with whom you could have shared your bounty.
If I suddenly found myself in possession of 60 lbs of meat, I'd have to make only two or three phone calls to members of my "in-group," and it would vanish!
By the same token, they frequently call me to ask if I'd like, say, a couple of quarts of blueberries, cherries, etc.
That's how it usually works in rural America and similar settings.
Regards,
I did give some to both of my kids.
In fact the majority of the meat is in my daughter’s walk in freezer.
They run a raw dog food business.
My two boxes of meat are on the top shelf in that freezer.
I told them to help themselves.
The other fact is my mother in-law feeds the deer in her backyard.
So, she has no idea of the deer I shot behind my house.
My father in-law has sworn us to secrecy.
Also, the head mount will not be returned to me until January 2027.
So, eventually she will see it hanging in my den.
