I have CKD and cipro is the only thing I can take that cures any infection (especially UTI) quickly with no side effects. Other ABs just take my money and hover in the background.

Same for me. When we’re in some ports on cruises, I stock up on cipro OTC. I used to get 3-4 UTIs a year, and Cipro was magical.
Now I take D-Mannose every day (2 in the am, and one before bed). Haven’t had a UTI in about 4 years.
