😊 Since it’s only the human images that are screwed up, it was probably some Islamic nitwit defacement. The surfaces in KV5 began rough (keying for plaster, as Kent Weeks said in a documentary) and the plaster was troweled in smooth, making the tomb decoration a sort of fresco approach. Deep in KV5 corridors and chambers which were roughed out but never used show the approach.
