Get the USA out of NATO. It has become an entity whose mission changed. The USA must exit NATO and the UN now!!
I agree - out of both.
But our gdp is $32 trillion. We pay 5% of that - $1.6 trillion as NATO dues.
I would guess a big chunk of that comes back to our defense industry.
