Thee are many many posters on FR that if a real alien walked up to them, they would still deny the reality of that alien.
The US is the only country where alien deniers exist, where mocking evidence and facts are considered sport.
There are facts I know that could be considered “disruptive.” I have been convinced that, for various reasons, sharing these facts would be harmful. We are not talking about disclosure, but something adjacent. Once I knew these facts, it was a small jump to figure out things that I wasn’t directly shown. I do not know if these things are factual, but when A = B and B = C then in most cases A = C.
They think (if they think) inside the box.
They conclude, if there are aliens, they must be extraterrestrial. They must be from distant galaxies...but–they quickly add–that's impossible. Ergo, this is all for naught.
This is intellectual dishonesty.
This may all be nothing (a conspiracy theory originating out of natural events) or it may be something.
Drawing conclusions that it is nothing before the government files have been released shows us that these people are afraid of the truth.
The point is, let's follow the evidence wherever it leads.
If the evidence proves that so-called aliens and UFOs are figments of our imagination–fine. But if the evidence proves otherwise...?
That's what they are afraid of. They are too afraid to follow the evidence.
A mind made up is not seeking scientific analysis, it is seeking confirmation. It is seeking confirmation of its bias.
“OK, show me proof”
“Well, they are really good at hiding. They have been doing it for a hundred years or so. You have to trust us”
