Drones used in warfare today aren’t radio controlled. They are internally course controlled to get to the general desired area, then visually self-guided to the target via onboard cameras.

Some are, some are not. Predators are still in use, they are remote piloted.

I'd be willing to bet that autonomous drones are not that widely used.
