I say let them cut off the straight and use it as a weapon all they want. It only affects Chinese, Asian and some Euro oil imports. Zero effect upon US except to keep price of oil high as it’s a globally traded commodity.

How do you propose we get the Strait open again?
BTW, several GCC members have cut production. It will take weeks to get it back up and running once the Strait is open. Port and storage facilities have also been damaged. Repair will take time.
