Eight reported Bigfoot sightings were logged across Ohio in just four days, a surge experts say hasn't been seen in the region in nearly 50 years.
An expert with the Bigfoot Society podcast, hosted by Jeremiah Byron, said a possible 'flap' - a sudden cluster of Sasquatch sightings within a short time span - may be unfolding across Ohio.
Each witness, Byron said, is a local familiar with rural Ohio wildlife, and all described similar sightings: large, black-haired creatures with long arms, walking upright and making 'grunting noises.'

I’ve used Google Earth to find this lake multiple times since then and can’t find fish lake. The resolution is good enough to make out individual trees, and there is another small lake but it’s on the other side of a ridge from where fish lake should be. We were there in 2006 and I haven’t drove back to get the fs road #, or see if the road sign for “fish lake 6 miles” is still there.
The fact that Google Earth doesn’t show it leads me to wonder if the image on Google Earth has been altered, or as has occurred to me recently, maybe there is a portal somewhere on the road up to the lake that we were unaware we had passed through. I know a wintu tribe woman who has told me that just past fish lake is a trail head to a village of squaches that her tribes shaman used to visit . But that only the shamans were allowed to go there. Anyone else who isn’t a shaman who tried to go there are never seen again.
She advised me to never go back to fish lake.
The campground there was beautiful, but empty while all the campgrounds on and around Trinity lake were packed full. And this campground was noticably unmaintained or used, as well as the 6 mile road up to it. We had to pull a couple small windfallen pecker pole trees off the road on our way in.

Which is why we went there in the first place, to see if there were any open camp sites. And why we persisted in going there to the point of getting out and dragging the 2 small windfall trees off the road.

You can go to fish lake, but I guarantee you will not stay there long . You will be, shall we say,,,encouraged,,,to leave.

Big cats have no issue finding enough food and they bury remains. After decades of reports of big cats in the woods, we saw a photo Many huge primates are mainly vegetarian so there is a good possibility a primate cryptid would be as well.
We know big cats still exist in the forests of the USA but seeing one is rarer than winning lottery. Species of primates may simply be more intelligent than cats at hiding from humans.
The fossil record has definitely found many humanoid primates in the not so distant past that showed some human like intelligence with larger hairier bodies. If you saw these animals walking today you would definitely think bigfoot.
We don’t know what happened to them since but one theory is some were outcompeted and hunted by humans. Any survivors had to become more skilled at hiding than humans are skilled at tracking
