I flat-out refused it; wife took one dose (pressured by her mother) and at one point they tried to gang up on me. There was some serious soul-searching over that. Wife and I are still together. Mothet-in-law has passed (not specifically COVID, COPD). Got “COVID”, sick as hell for two days, recovered after 4. Still would never take that “vax”.

My wife and I both had it in the late fall of 2020. We were miserable for about a week and recovered. When the vax started being pushed, I told her not to take it as we would have natural immunity. She chose to believe Biden, Fauci and MSNBC instead.

Within ten days after her second booster jab she began displaying symptoms like loss of balance and bouts of dementia. It got worse and she had a few falls, one of which resulted in surgery. She is now in long term care and the cost will eventually impoverish us.

I am so sorry for you. That has to be hard, having that conversation with her then and looking at her now. I would have regrets over it. May the Lord keep and bless you both.
