Having been in the military I’ve seen my share of stuff that went out the gate. It’s like a sieve.

It's also a good possibility they never left the facility and ten years from now a grunt will open a box and go, "What the hell are these doing here".

maybe, but more likely is there wated 4 months to tell anyone to buy time to figure out how to cover thier asses.

more likely, some e2-e3 took them for a weekend of fafo and cant figure out how to get them back on base with all the extra security going on now.
