Gahhhh! The inner ear thing. I am lucky, I only get it occasionally, maybe once a year, and I can get it to resolve I perform the Epley Maneuver (where you lay down a specific way, then roll around) so mine isn’t the same as yours.

I do it for a week or so, then I am good. I knew someone who had vertigo that was different from mine, and boy, I sure did feel sympathy for him. He couldn’t do anything.

Anyway, it sounds like that meandering in life that I take in conversation has been something you take as it comes, and if you get lemons, you make it into lemonade...

I had to give up laying under vehicles too LOL. The whole Inner Ear thing can also trigger ADD/ADHD type symptoms in some. This is newer discoveries in the past decade or less. It is also a common cause in what they call anxiety disorder. Problem is the meds {usually antidepressants} they try and use but ignore Inner Ear issues. Older General Practitioners back in the day knew about it. It got lost in specialized medicine.

Look up Serotonin Syndrome. My wife had it once and it caused a brain bleed and nearly killed her. She hallucinated several days before I figured out what six doctors couldn't. I typed in the meds and adverse reactions and found it. Convincing the doctors was the problem until I told them to read me the pharmacology professors article and asked if they knew him? It was their university hospitals pharmacology professor.
