Charlie didn't get angry. Charlie played the episode on his pod cast and laughed.
The left went nuts because Charlie didn't react as they expected him to.
You can counter ridicule. The key is to laugh along. It takes away it's power.
I chuckled watching the SNL skit. It really isn't a big deal unless you make it a big deal.
