No, but he’s going to have to get the so-called independent voters, and I think those ads will work pretty well with them. The dems seem to be locked in on the 20 part of the 80-20 divide on many issues. Any softening on his part of those core democrat ‘values’ is going to bite him with the true believers. I don’t think that California reality and what passes for ‘California values’ have that broad an appeal. But, of course, we’ll see.
