The unidentified teacher was suspended with pay after making the comment on February 24 as outraged parents fumed to the Merrillville School Board.
'This is what he thinks about our kids,' one parent said at the Tuesday board meeting. 'I'm not getting over this... now we see this coming from the president also.'
Parents in the school district angrily voiced their complaints at the board meeting, as the Gary branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People has launched an investigation, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Instead of isolating the cancer and putting them somewhere they can be far away from victims or creating an environment where NO ONE can learn, they allow it to destroy everyone else.

In 8th grade I had a english teacher who hated lateness insubordination and interruptions.
Everyone knew this.
One day a 6th grader from the office knocked on the class door and after a few seconds opened the door with a note.
The teacher gave her a look that could kill and said
“GOD HATES YOU”
The girl collapsed crying and then ran out of the classroom.
We had a substitute for a few months.
The crazy thing is, it doesn't look like a terrible school despite being 64% black and 20% Hispanic.
Merrillville Intermediate gets a 7/10 on the greatschools website.
Maybe this school has high standards? Maybe this teacher contributed to these high standards? Maybe the NAACP needs to STFU.
