The BBC "mistakenly" altered a speech by Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth on the war in Iran, making him appear to say the United States was targeting the Iranian "people".
This comes only a handful of months since they did the same to President Trump.
Defund the BBC!

Sadly the greatest news organization in the world that reported the truth has devolved into partisan reporting of the news and will soon devolve into obscurity.
RIP BBC, your days of glory and truth are dead as BBC will soon be.
In days past I listened to BBC on short wave with my Grundig radio. From isolated parts of the world I could tune in to BBC and get the truth. It was quite comforting from an isolated drilling site in Bolivia to tune in to the BBC and hear the world news in a clipped British accent. I was the only English speaker on the site but fortunately spoke Spanish. The BBC told me the truth 45 years ago. That is no longer true.

Funny how mistakes like that happen all the time with certain media outlets, isn’t it?
They've been "gone the way of CNN" for a very very loo-ong time.
