You showed the DemonKKKrat turnout of voters. How about the Republicans?

I’ll do you a favor:

Republicans:

John Cornyn â—Ź - runoff 41.9% 904,548
Ken Paxton - runoff 40.7% 878,412
Wesley Hunt 13.5% 292,005
Sara Canady 1.2% 26,189
Anna Bender 1.1% 24,335
Other candidates 1.6% 33,987
Totals: 2,159,476

DemonKKKraats:

James Talarico 52.5% 1,212,328
Jasmine Crockett 46.2% 1,068,220
Ahmad Hassan 1.3% 31,003
Total: 2,311,551

It does not look good for the GOP electorate that they can’t take time to vote.

Note: I lack formatting skills in showing columns

Flashbacks .... h/t TX Rep Brandon Gill ...

White skin gives me and every white American immunity from the virus. But we spread it wherever we go—through our words, our actions, and our systems. We don’t have to be showing symptoms—like a white hood or a Confederate flag—to be contagious.— James Talarico (@jamestalarico) May 8, 2020

Grief can be fertile soil for creativity and action.

Those of us in this moment have a great mission. To do something that has never been done in human history: create a true democracy—multi-racial, multi-gender, multi-cultural.

May we, in our grief, forge this new covenant.— James Talarico (@jamestalarico) January 6, 2022

Huh?

I’m not a Texan, but if Cornyn/Paxton was cordial... the word has no meaning.

I saw part of the interview he did with that talentless punk Colbert. He claims to be a Christian clergyman and insists that God approves of transgenders,,,twenty different sexes...illegal aliens, etc. I can’t imagine real Texans falling for any of that cr@p.

Talarico is employing the Spanberger playbook.

Lie to get elected, then bring down the hammer.

What concerns me is that so many white women will fall for Howdy Doody’s lies....

Dems had the choice between TWO real prizes!

This will be a slam dunk, for Paxton :-)

That’s only because the Republican senate primary was cordial while the democrat race was so contentious.

The low turnout of the Republicans in the primary is a very serious warning indicator. Another warning indicator is the close margin in the Republican primary with a need for a runoff election.

We had best take heed and put much more effort into generating improved turnout. And the margin of victory in the runoff election had better be substantial.

It does not really matter which Republican candidate wins the runoff at this point. Political contests now seem to be mostly a choice between "bad" and "worse". Spoiler: The Democrat is always worse. Much worse.

White dems did not want a black dem candidate is why there was a heavy turnout.

I have some cousins in texas but I don’t know much about the varied shifting demographics of texas.

My main point is that primary voters usually come back in the fall to vote in the general. If that holds, then texas democrats have a built in 150,000 vote advantage.

That can be made up by the volatile texas independents if there is a strong surge in sentiment toward trump by november

All of this is without the SAVE Act. If they passed it, Rat numbers would drop.
