From what I have read in the past and posted during the Russian invasion, my impression is that America has huge deep war stores that are out of the equation of normal discussions and secretive, and then we have our less secretive normal stores which are the ones we tap into for emergencies like Ukraine and for selling to foreign governments, sending to Israel for emergencies and such.

In other words we have all the problems and issues of using up supplies, shortages of this and that, and so on, that everyone knows about and discusses, but we do have huge stores of war fighting ammo and supplies that are not part of anything but our nation’s survival and not part of anything that is shared with the public, a protected reserve and war base.

“but we do have huge stores of war fighting ammo and supplies”

I would guess at least a million JDAMs, as an example.

When combined with stealth and air supremacy that’s money in the bank.

But we are low on Patriot, THAAD and SM-6. And getting low on the most modern Tomahawks.

Production of those missiles have been doubled and quadrupled in the BBB.

1,000 Tomahawks, 500 THAAD, 500 SM-6 and 500 Patriot is the planned production this year.
