What's the end game in this war that doesn't end in a political disaster for Republicans and the country?

There is no chance the Iranian people are going to accept a US friendly government after killing their religious leaders and after a missile killed 160 elementary age girls at a school. The majority hate our guts and Israel.

Any regime would require boots on the ground, occupation and mass causalities and result in Trump being Richard Nixon in his second term.

Leaving without a regime change, will likely result in Iran forming even closer military relations with China and Russia. Iran will be given an even bigger arsenal of weapons from both.

If we run out of missiles before Iran, we won't even get the deal we got before this war began.
