Prepare to vote!
Oh, that’s CD-14 west of Charlotte.
I’m not a tremendous fan of Moore from his time in the NC House because he often seemed to be a little too “bipartisan”, but Barr doesn’t seem to have much of a chance at all against him.
Moore would have to underachieve pretty big to lose to her — or to the Democrat in November.
It's not going to matter. Roy Cooper will win easily.
We needed Lara Trump to run against Roy Cooper. She was our only chase.
“It’s not going to matter. Roy Cooper will win easily. We needed Lara Trump to run against Roy Cooper.”
You are correct on both counts, but I still wonder if *maybe* one of the younger energetic congressmen (or ex-congressmen, in the case of Dan Bishop) could have made a decent showing against Cooper once Lara Trump chose to bypass the race.
We’ll never know of course, because the clueless & hapless Whatley (as if his RNC tenure was so impressive) was anointed from on high and everybody else who might have jumped in walked away. Maybe it wouldn’t have been such a bad idea after all, to allow the voters of North Carolina to be the ones to select the GOP Senate nominee.
I think Pat Harrigan would be a hell of a fighter against Cooper, and he was willing to do it but got the door slammed in his face by Lara Trump’s father-in-law.
