My husband was behind and in lane to left of a car carrier on turnpike and a car fell off- fortunately it skidded to right between traffic/cars and ended up on side of road- tires burning and smoking
That reminds me of a time when I was behind a pickup with some large object on a pallet in the back. The load wasn’t secured, the truck hit a bump, and the object jumped up and landed on the road right in front of me. It skidded across 3 lanes to the right and ended up on the shoulder. Miraculously no one hit it. The pickup kept going until they started to wonder what happened to their load. Last I saw of those idiots they were driving in reverse on the shoulder.
