At this point, the Kurds themselves deny any ground invasion from Iraq into Iran. However, developments in the air and on the ground strongly suggest that such a move could happen soon.

 

While all attention is focused on them, the Islamic Republic should realize that its borders with other countries are now wide open to invasion by others.
