A 27-year-old illegal immigrant from Guatemala named Carlos Aguilar Reynoso was babysitting a five-year-old girl on February 1st when he allegedly violently raped her causing severe internal injuries that required surgery. Her mother came home from work found her bleeding and rushed her to the hospital. Thanks to New Yorks cashless bail laws under Governor Kathy Hochul this monster was initially charged only with endangering the welfare of a child. He was nearly released back onto our streets. Only swift action by ICE kept him locked up. This is what happens when sanctuary policies and soft on crime laws put illegal immigrants ahead of protecting our most vulnerable kids.
How many more American children have to suffer before Governor Kathy Hochul and New York lawmakers put citizens first and scrap these dangerous policies?
