They also have MCAS’s. Pendleton is MCB, Marine Corps Base, 29 Palms is the ‘Combat Center’. If we have a detachment, the reality is the facility is a Corps asset.

I was stationed @ Stumps. Back then, as far as I remember, it was just an arty base and hosted reserves for their 2 weeks.
