Gov't's job to deal out justice, can't get much of that in CONUS so far, but these have been thugging the world for 47 years, it is joyous to see justice being done.
Still, it is hard to take joy in warfare and all of that killing and destruction.

I’ll have to think about that a bit more. Every one of those dead leaders would kill me or give me 40 lashes for not wearing a burka, for accidentally exposing my burka-covered arm while I drive, or IF I drive, or for questioning my muslim husband.. Their ideology represents an existential threat to me and all women. Regular men don’t have those same fears. All you have to do is adopt their cruel ideology. I have much more to lose under islamic rule than you do, so that likely explains my very different attitude.

the affairs of man often lead to drastic measures, too often. 🤷♂️ Still, it is hard to take joy in warfare and all of that killing and destruction. Unhappily, it is unavoidable. In the Old Testament we often even see God’s armies engaging in war fare.
