We have tried pinging Free Republic website using our server and the website returned the above results. If freerepublic.com is down for us too there is nothing you can do except waiting. Probably the server is overloaded, down or unreachable because of a network problem, outage or a website maintenance is in progress...

Wifi problems are not related.
If wifi suspect, Unplug router and wifi, wait 2m, plug back in. Reboot.

Status: FR is pinging steady. They are working on the problem.

Now which nation-state and or actors may be mounting internet attack from pre-paid teams from other international sites?

Yes am having troubles with FR also been ongoing since last night.

Yep, was weird too - some FR features worked
but most did not including my pings, news, etc.
