President Donald Trump on Wednesday encouraged actor Robert De Niro to leave the country a day after the two-time Oscar winner widely criticized his administration during a “State of the Swamp” event.
Trump made the suggestion in a Truth Social post where he also urged Reps. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota and Rashia Tlaib of Michigan -- both Muslim Democratic congresswomen -- to be “sent back from where they came.”
“They should actually get on a boat with Trump Deranged Robert De Niro, another sick and demented person with, I believe, an extremely Low IQ, who has absolutely no idea what he is doing or saying — some of which is seriously CRIMINAL!" Trump posted.
De Niro was among the speakers at Defiance.org’s “State of the Swamp” event, where the actor said: “I feel betrayed by my country.”
He condemned several Trump administration policies, including ICE’s presence in American cities, cutting foreign aid and giving tax breaks to “billionaire cronies.”
Despite his disagreements, De Niro said he would not leave the country.
“I’m not going anywhere. This is my house, my home,” the actor said at the event. “But I have to tell you, I’m not that crazy about living in this dysfunctional relationship.”
Trump said he watched De Niro’s speech and compared the actor to another liberal celebrity.
“When I watched him break down in tears last night, much like a child would do, I realized that he may be even sicker than Crazy Rosie O’Donnell, who is right now in Ireland trying to figure out how to come back into our beautiful United States,” Trump said. “The only difference between De Niro and Rosie is that she is probably somewhat smarter than him, which isn’t saying much.”
He must be Somalian. An extremely low IQ.
Just make sure when he leaves he’s wearing his favorite 6” elevator shoes because he’s insecure about his height.
