On the other hand, I am hoping, maybe, we learned our lesson and are not holding back but instead letting the military really go all in on this operation.
I don't think its a problem of holding back, its a matter of us not having the willpower to continue any long term conflict.
Given the delta in available force and violence we can dish out compared to what Iran can do, if we have the need to explore any long-term war footing, we failed already.
We should not have pulled the trigger if we did not believe we could accomplish this in a small window of time (2 to 3 months imo)
