Some of his 70s stuff scared me as a kid. Just didnt like some of those songs back then. Just something off about them. Not just his, not singling him out at all. Glad he had a good career and apparently a full personal life.

Songs like “Laughter in the Rain” and “Love Will Keep Us Together” were standard melodious, singable love songs.
