While I agree with you wholeheartedly, in today’s technology world, if you know what to listen to and where to tune in the HF radio spectrum it isn’t hard to figure out when something is about to take place. I’ve been listening to “Emergency Action Notification” radio traffic since Wednesday. This is USAF radio traffic that is not encoded, but instead uses certain code words that are then looked up in a book by the receiving party. You can’t tell the “when, where, and how”, but that amount of traffic means something is going on out of the ordinary.
