18+ miles between exits some places on I-40 in NM/AZ...and the odds of getting the vehicle to stop where you want them to stop after you light them up are pretty low.
The crash occurred near the Carnuel Exit just a mile or two from Albuquerque city limits, but you are correct, there’s places that are a whole lot of nothing too.
...and where is “you want them to stop”?
