I fully expect them to sell the IP to a big boy like BYD who would use it to crush their arch nemesis CATL or vice versa. Here again it’s when not if these types of cells come to market every major player is at some phase in testing or preproduction in 2026. The whole reason they gave full access to a independent third party was to shut up people just like you. So in a sense they already won that argument the data is right there they will be releasing more later this week on a third party venue as well. These are Finnish remember they made Nokia before the world got smart phone fever some really smart Finnish people. These guys just beat the industry by less than a year or so. Toyota has a working lab grade device so does Benz. It’s when not if at this point. The big competition is sodium ion from CATL at soon to be $20 per kWh and 200wh/kg with -40C and 10000+ cycle life available today at gigawatts level production. Only tech like this with very fast charging for niche markers can even hope to compete with what CATL already has. BYD had to.drop their LFP prices to match CATL and up the cycle life to 10000 by using more cathode materials.
You do you boo boo, I hope they IPO and make a lot of people money. They don’t have the manufacturing scale they should sell the IP and hit the beach.
